What Do We Offer?

New Focus is a compassionate ministry of Here's Life Inner City, Campus Crusde for Christ. We are a faith based training organization specialized in training for churches and their volunteers to be "Learning Stewardship by Living Stewardship With People in Need". Its primary resource are products that churches can use to improve the results of their local benevolence and outreach activities. It provides a philosophy and administrative infrastructure that is more open and responsive to people in need.

The goal of New Focus is to help people out of poverty through financial skill training and a holistic biblically based approach to life change.

The New Focus target end-user is people seeking assistance from churches who experience generational and situational poverty due to loss of job, underemployment, health problems, divorce, excessive debt, socioeconomic barriers, living beyond their means, etc. Participants are invited into a multi-week financial and personal skill management course that offers resources as incentives for participation and, which leads to long term connected relationships within the context of the church.

New Focus Promotion - a one hour introduction to New Focus

For church staff, individual members, small groups, deacons, social action committees, etc. that are searching for ways to improve the effectiveness of their local community benevolence and outreach goals, by impacting lives for the long term.

This 3-hour training introduces church volunteers and staff to the New Focus philosophy for more effective benevolence and the basic elements of its “A New Focus on Benevolence and Outreach” implementation training.

Cost $49. per person, or $250. per church, including a workbook.

“A New Focus on Benevolence and Outreach” Implementation Training

For the church that has a greater vision for equipping its members to respond effectively to people in need and is looking for the process and administrative infrastructure that can be tailored to its unique circumstances.

The “A New Focus on Benevolence and Outreach” 6-hour training equips church volunteers and staff with the information necessary to incorporate the New Focus philosophy into the fabric of all of its compassion ministry activities.
