New Focus's History
In 1987, Jenny Forner provided the leadership to establish "Quality Living", a weekly budgeting program in a non-profit agency. In 1994, New Focus began training churches in order to equip them with a system within their church, using people's needs to form relationships and providing a weekly money management ministry to support families on their way to self-sufficiency. In 1997, New Focus began training churches nationally.
New Focus has trained over 300 churches and non-profits in 19 states and 26 denominations. Lives are being changed as people move from just getting resources, to gaining knowledge how to manage their resources and build relationships as they attend a weekly small group and give to others.
